1. Introduction
These terms and conditions (the "Terms") govern the relationship between Kastt ("We", "Us", "Our") and you ("The Customer", "You") regarding:

The sale of goods by Us to You via our website.

The purchase of goods by Us from You (our "Trade-In" service).
By placing an order or submitting a device for trade-in, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Buying from Kastt
2.1 Product Condition & Grading

Brand New: Devices are factory sealed and unused.

Refurbished: Devices are pre-owned and have been professionally tested and cleaned. They may show signs of cosmetic wear depending on the grade selected (e.g., "Pristine", "Very Good", "Good").

Images: Product images on our website are for illustrative purposes. For refurbished goods, the actual device may vary slightly in cosmetic appearance.
2.2 VAT and The Margin Scheme

New Products: Sold with standard VAT (20%). A VAT invoice can be provided upon request.

Refurbished Products: Sold under the VAT Margin Scheme. VAT is included in the price, but you cannot reclaim input VAT on these items. No VAT invoice will be provided for Margin Scheme goods.
2.3 Orders & Pricing
Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. A contract is formed only when we dispatch the goods to you. We reserve the right to cancel orders prior to dispatch due to pricing errors, stock discrepancies, or suspicion of fraud.
3. Delivery
3.1 Shipping Method
We use Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm for high-value items to ensuring they are tracked and insured.
3.2 Dispatch Times

Cut-off Time: Orders placed before 2:00 PM (Monday–Friday) are dispatched the same day.

Weekends: Orders placed after 2:00 PM on Friday or anytime on Saturday/Sunday will be dispatched on the next working day.
3.3 Failed Deliveries & Loss
If an item is lost in transit, we will issue a replacement or refund only after the courier confirms the item is lost (typically 10 working days). We are not liable for delays caused by the courier (e.g., strikes or severe weather).
4. Returns & Cancellations (Buying)
4.1 Your Right to Cancel (Cooling Off Period)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods for any reason.

Condition: You must return the device in the exact condition it was received, including all accessories.

Cost: You are responsible for the cost of return postage unless the item is faulty.
4.2 Faulty Goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if your item is faulty:

Within 30 days: You are entitled to a full refund.

After 30 days: We have the right to repair or replace the unit first.
5. The Kastt 3-Year Warranty
This voluntary warranty operates alongside your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and does not affect them.
5.1 What is Covered?

Years 1, 2, and 3: We cover technical hardware faults that occur during normal use (e.g., camera failure, microphone issues, logic board failure, screen defects not caused by physical damage).

First 90 Days Only: We cover Batteries. We guarantee the battery will function correctly and hold a charge for the first 90 days.

Note: All our refurbished phones are tested to ensure they have at least 80% battery health at the point of sale.

5.2 What is NOT Covered (Exclusions)?

Batteries after 90 Days: Batteries are classified as consumable parts that naturally degrade with use and time. Any decrease in battery life or health after 90 days is considered normal wear and tear and is not covered by this warranty.

Accidental Damage: Cracks, dents, bent chassis, smashed screens, or any damage caused by drops or impact.

Liquid Damage: Any device found to have water ingress or moisture damage indicators triggered.

Software: Issues related to iOS/Android updates, third-party apps, or user-locked devices.

Tampering: Any device opened, repaired, or modified by a third party (including high-street repair shops) voids this warranty immediately.
6. Selling Your Device (Trade-Ins)
6.1 The Quote
Prices offered on our website are based on the information you provide. Upon receipt, our technicians will test the device.

If the condition matches your description: We pay the quoted price.

If the condition differs (e.g., screen burns, scratches, face ID failure): We will email you a Revised Offer.

Accepting/Rejecting: You have 3 days to accept the Revised Offer. If you reject it, we will return your device to you free of charge.
6.2 Ownership & Theft (CheckMEND)
You warrant that you are the legal owner of the device. We check every IMEI against the CheckMEND database.

Stolen Goods: If a device is flagged as lost, stolen, or barred, we are legally required to hold the device and notify the relevant authorities. No payment will be made.
6.3 Data & iCloud/Google Locks

Locks: You must remove all security locks (iCloud, Find My iPhone, Google Lock, Samsung Account) before sending. We cannot purchase locked devices.

Data: You are responsible for backing up your data. We wipe all devices using professional software upon receipt. Kastt accepts no liability for loss of data.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Kastt will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data arising out of or in connection with the use of the goods. Our total liability shall be limited to the purchase price of the goods.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
